It take approximately
500 years for a disposable diaper to decompose! One child, will use between
6,000 to 10,000 disposables before toilet learning is complete.
How to
wash Cloth Diapers
1) Dump the stools into the toilet when possible. Place your load of diapers
and wipes in the machine and rinse in cold water.
2)Wash using HOT water and detergent. Add ½ cup of vinegar into the rinse
cycle {every three washes or so is fine}. Hang your diapers to dry whenever
possible to save energy! If you want to fluff them up toss them in the
dryer for about 5 minutes after air drying.
3)Try not to get your diaper covers tossed into the dryer. You will improve
the longesvity and waterproof laminate by air drying.
